This skill is considered by most people as fairly useless, but we all go out "Sweating" from time to time for various reasons. This is a simple guide to what I have found to be the most efficient way of collecting Vibrant Sweat.

Most people go to either Sweat Camp or Nea's Place to do their Sweating. I find serous problems with both these locations.

SWEAT CAMP
At Sweat Camp everyone there is a Noob, just starting out and trying to figure it out, or they have just bought their first weapon and want to figure that out. The end result is that you have the Mobs running all over the place either killing you off or not remaining close enough long enough for you to obtain any great quantity of Sweat. Or worse still, every time you start to Sweat a MOb someone decides they want to kill it. The end result is you spend more time looking for the next Mob to sweat then you do actually Sweating.

NEA'S PLACE
This is the most popular place for serious Sweat Gatherers. There are huge amounts of Avatars and huge creatures, Ambulamax running all over the nearby hills. From a distance this scene would appear to look as thogh there is an Ant Nest nearby and the Worker Ants were killing and gathering the flesh of a group of grubs to take home to feed to their young. The end result here is you often have several mobs that are dry and if you are attacked it only takes two or three hits and your Avatar has to run all the way back from the revival again. You seem to spend a lot of your time running or trying to figure out which Mob still has Sweat.

The one good thing with Nea's Place is you can find a Swunt Team here on a regular basis. A Swunt Team consists of twelve Avatars that gather in a tight circle away from the main group of Sweaters. One of the Avatars will run off and drag an Ambulamax into the centre of the circle and everyone will sweat the Mob till it is dry. Once this is done each Avatar will use either an Opolo or CB5 to kill the mob. The Dragger then runs off to bring back the next Mob. Once a Swunt Team can get itself organized this can prove to be an effective way of gathering Sweat. It has the added bonuses of gaining weapon skills and the possibility of making a few PEDs.

"Temporal Destinies Style"
Currently there are no Kerbies ingame. In the VU9 I found these to be the preferred Mob to Sweat as all you needed was Pixie Armor. By wearing this low level aromr you did not need to heal, just Sweat the Mob then kill it. With these out of the picture, for now, the preferred target is Combibos. You will need Pixie Armor and 2A plating. This reduces the need to heal to almost nil. The more time you spend actually trying to gather Sweat the more Sweat you collect.

Although you gain skill from healing it costs you PEDs to do so. The concept of Sweat Gathering is to make PEDs not waste them. You will gain in your Paramedic Skills when doing other things, such as Hunting, Mining, TP Runs and Quests. It is my suggestion to not waste your time or PEDs while trying to gather Sweat. In addition if you can get a Team of at least three Avatars, four if you have very low Evade Skill, you can Sweat without the Armor.

I have found this to be a very effective and efficient way of Swunting, as the loot from the Combibos helps to pay for the decay on your Armor and weapons. In addition, you will also have quite good skill gain in most combat and defence skills, as well as your mindforce skills.

"Where to go Swunting"
Find a place that is reasonably secluded and does not have too much traffic. The more Avatars traveling through the area where you are Swunting the more your Sweating attempts will be disturbed. Currently, when I am sweating to make a profit, I go south of Minopolis. Two lesser or one minor Teleport south of the Town Portal will put you atthe beginning of the spawn. Work your way north from here and you will quickly find the Mobs. Kill off the Snablesnots in the area that annoy you, as these are not cost effective in Pixie Armor because they do too much damage and you will need to heal a lot.

Currently I am level 24 in Sweat Gathering and level 15 in evade and my skill gain seems to be non existent while Swunting Combibos. As a result I am now testing out Molisks. It seems my skill gain has greatly increased but this does not seem to be a very cost efficient way of collecting sweat. As I have only been doing this for a couple of days I will update this thread as I gain more knowledge on its viability.

Good lick with your Sweating and I hope this proves to be helpful.

Very informative and cheers M8:) Evey and Myself found the right location and mob for higher LvL swunters. Higher maturity combibos at solfias Crater. Best if you do it in team minimum 2 peops, 3 better ofc. But let us not negate Minopolis for the greenhorns.

A swunters chances to Hof and Global on the bigger combibos are better too. So if anyone wants to swunt with me at Solfias, I will put a swunt team together when I log in today.

thanks for this information. This will be very useful for all those that are new to the game, and also to those that really never sweated or have not in a long long long time

Well I have a theory guys and let me explain what I've been noticing in the last few weeks about the swunting mobs.

Seems that the swunt mobs are being what I like to call "Rotated". For example, one day it could be Combibos, the next it could be Exaosaurs, and the next it could be Cornundacauda.

I think the thing is that MA tends to shift the mob loots from day to day.

For example 2 days ago the "hot mob" to go swunting was in fact Combibos (Prowler and Stalker class). But also the smaller combibos were dropping as well (on this day, 2 days ago, the Temporal Destinies swunt team had 7 (That's right 7!) drops of loot that were in fact all Goblin Shin guards (4 male and 3 female)

Now today (Sunday) it turned out to be Cornundacauda (young to old maturities, but I think also the thing is that if we had a larger group, I'm guessing that the larger maturities (all the way up to Guardian level) would have dropped something as well.

The thing is that what we'll need to do is figure out which mob might be dropping on certain days. If one mob is dropping poorly, then it's time to switch swunt mobs and move to a different group.

Right now I'm trying to figure out what the exact patterning might be.. After all, on Friday/Saturdays it was combibos, for Sunday/Monday it was Cornundacaudas..

But the thing is that every day (at around midnight MA time) the mobs tend to start to shift to another mob.. and this is perhaps something we need to all figure out. Granted, it will take time, but I feel if we have enough observant people who will take notes, and who can add additional information, maybe we could find a "Method" to this "madness".

(After all remember this is a game, and usually even in the simplest game there are certain patterns that do crop up from time to time.)

And really that's all I have to say on the matter at this time.

Tomorrow we're going back to bibos and see what happens..

Until then.. Laters folks

yep, I have to agree with Ben on this one. Especially combibos at Solfias Crater. Evey and I did do a hunt and swunted 1 to test it so to speak. Some of us have reached a level where it is more prudent to up the Mob size. Not to mention Combibos, prowler, stalkers and old alphas are quite hoffeable, if u are lucky ofc.
